Gasses and Climate Change

Combustion Demo
Hypothesis: If the alcohol is ignited, then fire will appear.
Observation: When the bottle was ignited, fire appeared and made the bottle shoot far out with the combusted energy.
Combustion and Climate Change: Combustion of fossil fuel, along with methane, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and halo carbonate are some of the main greenhouse gasses, which make the temperature of the Earth warmer.

CO2 Gas Demo
Hypothesis: When the gas hits the flame, the flame will go out.
Observation: The chemical mixture emitted a smoke that, when covering the flame, put the flame out.

Hydrogen Gas Demo
Hypothesis: When the gas escapes, the fire will ignite.
Observation: When the zinc was placed in the liquid, gas was emitted. When the flame was ignited, the fire lasted in the container until all of the gas was released into the air. If the fire was tried to ignite again, only a sizzle occurred and then it died out. The container is hot though, due to the fire and zinc.
Alternate resources: Hydrogen can be used to power earth friendly electricity. There are also controversial methods of powering the planet, but there are also sure-safe ways to generate electricity. While there are a lot more possibilities with using other natural chemicals and resources, some include solar power, tide mills, wave energy, solar thermal energy, and wind powering electricity.

Air pressure Demo:
Hypothesis: When the can filled with water vapor is placed in the ice water, the can will turn cold and the gas inside with continue to escape from it's container.
Observation. When the experiment was performed, nothing occurred.
Hypothesis: when the can filled with water vapor is inverted and placed in the tub of ice water, the can will be crushed with little energy.
Observation: When the can was relocated into the tub of ice water invertedly, the can was crushed with little strength. This was caused by the sudden change in air pressure when the gas was tapped inside the soda can and the freezing water put more pressure on the can.
The human footprint has left a significant amount of traces on earth. Air pressure is one of them. This change has effected wind currents, precipitation in nearby or distant areas, and wind, Since a study from 1948, the air pressure in the subtropic North Atlantic ocean has
dropped. The greenhouse gasses have helped in this process.

Air Pressure Demo
Hypothesis: If the can filled with water vapor is placed in the tub with ice water, then the water vapor will then turn into a solid (ice).
Observation: Nothing happened when the soda can was transferred.
2nd hypothesis:If the can filled with water vapor is inverted and placed into the tub wirh ice water, then the can will be crushed.
Observation: when the can was inverted into the ice bath, the can was crushed easily, and with very little strength. A change in air pressure took place as soon as the gas was trapped in the can with the ice water.
